Pacific Bottlenosed Dolphins are known for their natural leaping behaviors and are often used in captive shows at zoos and aquaria.
In the wild they are often seen inshore even just outside surf breaks along the shoreline.
Bottlenose are a large dolphin species. Mature animals can reach over ten feet in length with weights exceeding six hundred pounds.

Range: Found worldwide in temporate and tropical oceans. In the Pacific from northern Japan to Australia and S. California to Chile.
