Found near coastlines, lakes and rivers worldwide, the Osprey is in the hawk family. Also called Sea Eagle or Sea Hawk, it feeds mainly on fish. It grows to 2 feet, with a wing-span of almost 6 feet.
Once endangered due to the use of pesticides and hunting, they have make a strong comeback and can often be spotted on light posts near the shoreline and estuaries and urban areas.
Range: Worldwide.
