The Fin Whale is brownish gray along the back and sides with whitish underside. They have a unique asymmetry to the coloration of their lower jaw with the left side being gray to black much like the rest of the animal but the right side is white.
Baleen whale. Individuals can exceed 75 feet in length and weigh in excess of 80 tons.
Range: Arctic Circle to Gulf of Mexico; Bering Sea to Baja California
