| Range: Found world wide in nearly all the oceans of the
world. Fin Whales are baleen whales that feed mainly on small baitfish and tiny shrimp like crustaceans called Krill. Individuals can exceed 75 feet in length and weigh in excess of 80 tons. A unique identifying characteristic is their lower jaw, which is gray to black on the left side and light gray to white on the right side. |
