| Kearsarge Pass and Vidette Meadows The images that follow are from the south eastern High Sierra. The Kearsarge Pass is one of the most popular access points into the Eastern High Sierra. The trailhead leaves Onion Valley at an elevation of 9,192 feet. Four miles later you reach the summit of Kearsarge Pass, elevation 11,811 feet. Upon descending its western slope you have earned passage into the High Sierra. |
